CREATING APPLICATIONS FOR ANDROID

(Elementary School - High School - High School)

The MIT App Inventor is an intuitive, visual programming environment that allows everyone - even children - to create fully functional applications for smartphones and tablets. Kids at MIT App Inventor can make it their first application and work in less than 30 minutes. And in addition, the planning block-based facilitates the creation of high-impact complex applications in much less time than traditional programming environments.

All the above allow children not to be passive users of their favorite devices, while at the same time being trained in a field of new technologies with rapid development and high professional demand !!!

THE PROGRAM

The programming environment of App Inventor is a new technology that Google is incorporated to design and develop applications for mobile (mobile) devices that use Android software. Since 2012 , MIT University in the USA has taken over the management of App Inventor .

The aim is to enable users / students who have no previous programming experience to easily develop applications for their mobile devices, thus transforming them from ordinary users to application creators.

During the program children will create unique applications for tablets and mobile phones smartfones, aiming to facilitate the daily life of people, to improve their quality of life, but also the entertainment of every user !!!

In the 2nd level the children will now be trained in professional programs in combination with programming languages.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

The program is aimed at children to meet:

the AppInventor programming environment .
the sequence structure as well as the meaning of the variable .
how to define and use variables in AppInventor .
the operation of arithmetic and logic operators and how to compile them in AppInventor .
the operation of the selection structure and how to compile it in AppInventor .
become familiar with the concepts of objects , their properties and the handling of events .
to understand the expediency of use selection structures and how to compile them in AppInventor .
be able to retrieve , store , package and create applications using AppInventor; and of Android Studio .

COST - DURATION & BENEFITS:

DURATION: 2 Flat

Every year: 32 Lessons - (October to May)

4 academic semesters (October - January & February - May)

Once a week for 1 hour and 30 minutes .

(Holidays have been removed from the annual schedule)

PROGRAM COST: 360 euro (Paid in 8 monthly installments Χ 45 euros per month).

+ 12 euro book cost .

There is no registration fee.

EXPIRATION CERTIFICATION EACH LEVEL: Cost 20 euros.

Free training to participate in competitions (During the competition period, children who are interested in participating in a competition will come once a week in addition to a day and time that the parents will choose after a joint meeting).
Discount for 2 children: 80 euros
Discount for 3 children: 110 euros
Discount on the 2nd program at the price of 35 euros.
